A life shaped by ministry
The Word. Worship. The local church.
For more than 37 years, I have served the local church as a pastor, preacher, teacher, and worship leader. I am an ordained minister through Christian Global Outreach Ministries, conferred August 10, 2020, and I currently lead worship on Saturday nights at Cottonwood Creek Church in Allen, Texas.
My heart is to help people encounter Jesus Christ, grow into mature disciples, and live under the rule and reign of His Kingdom in everyday life. Whether I am preaching the Word, leading worship, or serving alongside a church in transition, I want everything I do to strengthen the body of Christ and point people to Jesus.
What guides my ministry
A clear mission. A shared life.
I believe the church exists to see Christ’s Kingdom established here on earth by leading people to Him and developing disciples who develop disciples. That mission has shaped the way I preach, lead, worship, and serve.
Christ-Centered
Jesus is the center of the message, the ministry, and the life of the church.
Biblically Faithful
Scripture is inspired by God and is the final authority for what we believe and how we live.
Worship-Focused
Worship is more than music. It is a life offered to God in Spirit and in truth.
Multi-Generational
The church is strongest when generations know one another, serve one another, and build a legacy together.
Culturally Diverse
Every person bears God’s image and is worthy of dignity, respect, and Christian love.
For the Common Good
God gives every believer something to strengthen the body and serve the world around us.

The Bible
The Scriptures are inspired by God, trustworthy, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.
God
There is one living and true God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully man, crucified as the substitute for our sin, raised bodily from the dead, and coming again. Salvation is by grace through faith in Him.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, indwells, seals, and empowers believers for holy living and faithful service.
The Church
Every follower of Jesus belongs to His body. The local church should build believers up, make Christ known, and work with other churches for the good of its community.
Gifts & Service
God gives every believer something for the common good. Our gifts are for strengthening the church and are exercised with humility, love, discernment, and order.
